Begunah: Green Entertainment’s Bold Take on Pahalgam False Flag | Six Screens

Green Entertainment recently released the teaser of a telefilm called Begunah, inspired by the alleged Pahalgam False Flag Operation. The teaser gave an insight of how and what happened on the day of the Pahalgam attack and after. Fans were curious about its release and were quick to respond as soon as the teaser dropped.

The Incident Behind the Story

In April 2025, a violent attack took place at Pahalgam hill station in the Indian-Occupied Kashmir (IOK), which reportedly led to many deaths. India accused Pakistan of supporting the attacks in the IOK afterwards. Pakistani sources claimed it was a false flag operation, that the incident was staged to blame Pakistan. What followed was a military escalation from both sides, including Pakistan shooting down six Rafale jets, before the ceasefire.

Why It Matters

Projects like Begunah highlight how art and entertainment can pick up on real political events. They have the power to shape public opinion. Green Entertainment stepping into such projects signals bold work.

Six Screen Media’s View

At Six Screen Entertainment, we think Begunah could become one of the most talked-about telefilms in recent times. The subject is sensitive, the cast is strong, and people want context and truth. But the telefilm must be based on facts rather than fiction and false information. If Begunah handles the topic well, it could be a way forward for the Pakistani industry to explore more in these areas.
