PISA 2025 Nominations Are Out — Time to Celebrate Creativity | Six Screens
The nominees list is excellent and diverse. In television, the shows Dunyapur, Noor Jahan, Kabbi Main Kabbi Tum, Zard Patton Ka Bunn, and Khaie compete for the Best TV Serial. Names like Bilal Abbas Khan (for Ishq Murshid), Fahad Mustafa (Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum), and Feroze Khan (Akhara) compete for Best TV Actor in the popular category. Meanwhile, Hania Aamir, Mawra Hocane, Ramsha Khan, Sajal Aly, and Yumna Zaidi are nominated for Best TV Actress (Popular).
On the critics’ side, judges recognize the powerful performances. Durefishan Saleem, Sajal Aly, Mawra Hocane, Saba Hameed, and Zara Noor Abbas are in the running. The awards also feature music and film categories: Fawad Khan earns a nod for Best Film Actor for Nayab, while Mehwish Hayat and Sanam Saeed fight for Best Film Actress.
Digital content creators, short-form and long-form influencers, and lifestyle creators are in the list. The PISA nominations indicate that the industry is now celebrating creativity.
What These Nominations Tell Us
This year’s PISA list shows two things clearly that storytelling in Pakistan is rich and varied; the digital space no longer lives in TV’s shadow. The inclusion of creators from TikTok, YouTube, and lifestyle content means everyone’s work can shine.
At Six Screen, we see this as a turning point. Talent no longer depends on cultural norms. A short video, a viral clip, or a bold web series can now get recognition too. The list of nominees proves that today’s audiences appreciate work from all platforms.
What We Expect Moving Forward
As voting opens, fans will play a big role in deciding who wins. But beyond that, the real winners are the storytellers themselves — the actors, writers, directors, musicians, creators whose art moves us.
PISA awards tells us where the Pakistani entertainment industry is heading. Six Screens is excited to cover who takes the award home so stay tuned for further updates.
