Biography

Aagha Ali Abbas comes from a showbiz family. His father, the late Agha Sikandar, his maternal grandfather Inayat Hussain Bhatti, and his uncle Waseem Abbas, all left lasting legacies in Pakistani entertainment while his cousin Ali Abbas is also a known actor. Aagha earned his BA from Forman Christian College. He began as a host in 2006 on ATV’s Total Round Up, earning a Best Anchor Award. His first acting debut was in 2005 PTV drama Yaad Piya Ki Aaye. He first gained fame through his work in Satrangi (2008) and Mein Hari Piya (2012), and even received a Hum Award nomination for his performance for it. Aagha starred in Khuda Dekh Raha Hai (2015), not only as the lead actor but as the vocalist on the original soundtrack as well. Aagha then starred in successful dramas such as Dil-e-Gumshuda, Mere Meherbaan, Band Khirkiyan, and Mujhe Khuda Pay Yakeen Hai. He also hosted shows, such as Music Plus Plus, Ruling Faces, and The Couple Show, he even wrote and directed Ruling Faces Season 2. In 2020, Aagha Ali married actress Hina Altaf in May. However, in October of 2024 he confirmed their divorce. Aagha Ali continues to act, make music, host shows, and direct projects, and he remained one of Pakistan’s most active and versatile creative talents.
