Faisal Rehman

Faisal Rehman well known Pakistani actor, director and script writer, who has proved himself on big and small screens. As native of Lahore, Pakistan, Faisal was introduced to the world of film at an early age. He entered the industry in 1980 with Nahi Abhi Nahi alongside the great actress Shabnam, which immediately reflected his talented side as an actor. He is also the cofounder of “The Actors’ Collective (ACT)”, an association of actors, including film, theatre and televisions artists, in Pakistan, which was established in 2009 in Lahore. Faisal Rehman has worked in several hit dramas and movies over his career. He has proven that he has the capability to play a variety of roles, whether it’s as a romantic hero, in social dramas, or in roles with complex characterisation. He has performed in TV serials such as Mann Mayal, Alif Allah Aur Insaan and Gul-e-Rana. Faisal stole everybody’s heart with every project he did. Besides acting, Faisal, has contributed to the industry as a writer and director.His work includes World Ka Centre (2002), a portrayal of lower middle-class life in Lahore and young men intending to move abroad for a better life, and which won the Special Jury Award at the 2002 Kara Film Festival. His love for narrative and the art of storytelling has inspired younger artists to this day.
