Bilal Lashari

Bilal Lashari is a renowned Pakistani filmmaker, cinematographer, screenwriter, and occasional actor. He made his directorial debut with Waar (2013), which became one of Pakistan’s highest-grossing films at the time. He later directed The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022), a blockbuster remake that became Pakistan’s highest-grossing film. Lashari has received numerous awards for his work, including four ARY Film Awards, and was honored with the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 2024 for his contribution to Pakistani cinema.
