A terrible tragedy has shaken Karachi. A three-year-old boy named Ibrahim fell into an uncovered manhole outside a store near Nipa Chowrangi. Sadly, he died. The news shocked many people — including celebrities across Pakistan.

Ibrahim was out shopping with his parents late Sunday night. While walking near the store, he slipped and fell into an open sewer drain in front of his father.
Local residents launched a search. After about 14–15 hours, they recovered his body.
Many well-known actors and media faces spoke out. Mahira Khan called the situation “unimaginable apathy.” She asked harshly, “Who the hell is responsible for Karachi?”
Sajal Aly condemned the system’s failure, saying a city carrying millions has no safety for its children.
Other voices, like Ahsan Khan and Mishi Khan, also blamed the authorities. They called the tragedy an outcome of negligence and asked for justice for Ibrahim.
Celebrities have raised their voices for a call to action. They demand urgent repairs, covering of man holes and stable infrastructure before another tragedy.

At Six Screens, we stand with those calling for change. Ibrahim’s loss is not only an eye opening tragedy but also a slap on our systems negligence.
Ibrahim’s death moved a nation. It reminded everyone that when infrastructure fails, even a simple walk can turn tragic. We hope his loss prompts authorities to act — so no family lives this pain again.
