Biography
Fahad Mustafa is a highly esteemed actor, producer, and television host known for his cross‑medium versatility and charismatic presence.
Born into a Sindhi family, his father is noted actor Salahuddin Tunio, and Fahad has several siblings, including actress cousin Sanam Baloch.He started pharmacy at Baqai Medical University then dropped out to enter the entertainment industry.
He began his acting career in early 2000s television utilizing shows like Sheeshay Ka Mahal and Umrao Jaan Ada then cemented his name through critical success with dramas like Veena, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Ek Tamanna Lahasil Si, Daagh, Kankar, and Dusri Biwi. After a break from serial television, Fahad made a huge comeback in 2024 with the blockbuster drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum opposite of Hania Aamir. Produced through his company, the show became a cultural hit, even reaching audiences globally and breaking viewing statistics.
With that, Fahad has hosted Jeeto Pakistan on ARY Digital since 2014, regarded as Pakistan’s largest game show. His infectious hosting style and emotional engagements with contestants have been integral to the show’s success.
His production company, Big Bang Entertainment (established with Dr. Ali Kazmi in 2008), has produced several successful television dramas, such as Balaa, Cheekh, Dunk, Meri Guriya, and Band Khirkiyan, most of which are anchored around a central social issue with a narrator.
On the film side, Fahad’s first portrayal was in the box-office hit Na Maloom Afraad (2014). Since his initial success, he has performed in many of the top-grossing Pakistani films, including Actor in Law (2016), Mah-e-Mir (2016), Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017), Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (2018), and Load Wedding (2018). His performance in Actor in Law received Lux Style Awards for Best Actor.
Fahad has also been involved as a host in some significant events like the Hum Awards (2013), and ARY Film Awards (2016) and related ceremonies for the Pakistan Super League. His pulled affection and relationship with engagement are widely appreciated.
Fahad married writer-producer Sana Fahad in 2005. They have two kids; a daughter Fatima born in 2011 and a son, Moosa, born in 2016. Sana is often involved in Big Bang Entertainment projects, making their relationship professional and hazards both business and marriage.
